Photo of a hardened, caramelized sugar droplet, reflecting off the stainless steel saucepan. Added some lines and colors. Also, the flan was delicious.
Original sharpie drawing above. Not terrible for my first screen print. This little shirt is for my nephew. He turns two next month. Would be cool if the graph paper lines showed. Aqua, red, and teal on a chartreuse shirt.
I just got off the phone with Garrett at Guitar Center, which I drive past about twice a day. It went something like this:
Garrett: Hello, Guitar Center, this is Garrett, how can I help you?
Me: Hi. I noticed you had some painters outside, are they still there?
G: I’m sorry, what?
Me: You had some painters outside earlier. Are they still there?
G: Um, yeah, I think they are still there, why?
Me: Oh, I wondered if you could get them to paint over that John Mayer poster you have hanging out there.
G: Wait, what?
Me: (more loudly) Can you get the painters to paint over the John Mayer sign? Or get them to replace it with someone cooler? Jimi Hendrix maybe?
G: Can I ask why? You don’t like John Mayer or something?
Me: Um, yeah I really REALLY don’t like John Mayer.
G: Well, yeah, I guess I can ask someone about it. I’m a John Mayer fan myself but if they could replace it with someone like Stevie Ray Vaughn or Jimi Hendrix, obviously that would be way cooler.
Me: Yeah! Okay, thank you very much for your help.
G: Sure, no problem.
